At Emily Howard Training, fostering an environment of respect, kindness, and professionalism is paramount. It is essential that all students, parents, and staff members treat one another with respect at all times. Respect is the foundation of a positive and supportive learning atmosphere, where all participants can thrive. Students are expected to demonstrate respect by listening attentively to their teachers, engaging fully in class activities, and treating their fellow students with courtesy and consideration. Parents and guardians play an important role in setting a positive example by modelling respectful behaviour both inside and outside of the studio. Teachers and staff are committed to maintaining this respectful environment by providing guidance, support, and encouragement to each student. By upholding these standards of respect, we ensure that the studio remains a safe, welcoming, and productive place for everyone involved.
In addition to respect, proper behaviour is critical to the success of each class. Disruptive or inappropriate behaviour, such as speaking out of turn, failing to follow instructions, or distracting others, is not tolerated. Students are expected to remain focused and engaged during class, as this enhances their learning experience and benefits everyone in the group. Maintaining a positive attitude is also a key expectation—students should approach their classes with enthusiasm, dedication, and a willingness to learn. Teachers are there to provide guidance and constructive feedback, and it is essential that students apply themselves to the best of their ability. Disruptive behaviour not only hinders the individual student’s progress but also affects the learning environment of their peers. Therefore, students who persist in disruptive behaviour may face disciplinary action, as maintaining a respectful and focused environment is essential for the success of all students in the class.
Clear and respectful communication is the cornerstone of effective problem-solving and maintaining a harmonious studio environment. At Emily Howard Training, we encourage open dialogue between students, parents, and staff to address any concerns or issues that may arise. Whether it's a question about class progress, a request for feedback, or a concern about the studio experience, communication should always be conducted in a professional and respectful manner. If a student or parent has any concerns, they are encouraged to approach the teacher or the administration directly, either in person or via email. Addressing concerns promptly helps to avoid misunderstandings and ensures that solutions can be found in a timely manner. By fostering an atmosphere of open and respectful communication, we are able to maintain a positive and productive environment for both students and their families.
